DIY Coconut Yoghurt You need: β€’ 2 Cans Full cream coconut (I used 30% fat Supreme Coconut Cream from @guruwholefoods ) β€’ 2 probiotic capsules (I use Orthoplex Multi Flora) β€’ 48 hours Empty your coconut cream & probiotic capsules into a glass mason jar or your yoghurt maker container. Allow to culture for 24-48 hours Once frothy and bubbling with desired tartness - place your yoghurt in the fridge to thicken up (it won't be thick until chilled for at least 24 hours) VOILA! no sweeteners required.

Nothing fancy this morning Cream in my coffee, eggs scrambled with chives & grassfed butter. Smoked salmon. Avocado. I don't eat smoked salmon all that often, even though I love it so much. I would if I had access to Canadian Way salmon as I heard they're the only company that doesn't feed the fish dye pellets to make their flesh more orange. I've been avoiding salmon for a long time because of that. Unfortunately though, it's the only fish I really love & I have an affinity to omega 3s

Plus there's a range of cool little phytochemicals and nutrients in different foods - and that's what makes them special & taste so unique. 🌟 Tom Ka Gai A traditional Thai lemongrass & coconut chicken soup fits into a keto lifestyle perfectly. High in fat - specifically healthy saturated fat (Yes, I really said that) & Lauric acid (an MCT) Moderate protein and of course low carb. Bullet Proof Coffee. I'm not knocking it, but sometimes I just want a good old fashioned coffee, ya know? If you're okay with Dairy - this is a little hack I have come up with to have your favourite beverage with a good macro split to kickstart your fat fuelled day ✨ 2/3 cup heavy cream (check the ingredients, there ideally should be 1: milk and maybe some gelatine but that's it!) 1/3 cup water Mix. Steam. Or have it cold as an Iced-coffee instead ✨ C| 4 F| 62 P| 4 ✨ A NOTE ABOUT COFFEE A favourite saying my lecturers used to say through out my degree was "the Dose Makes the Medicine & the Poison" ✨ Coffee has some great antioxidants and there's no denying the wonderful morning pick me up coffee makes. Limiting your daily coffee consumption is important, for sure. But unless you have some serious adrenal or liver dysfunction going on and need to heal your body - a Coffee a day gets an OKAY from me.πŸ‘Œ
