Regrann from @story_and_her - White Supremest Trump has referred to Haiti and Africa as “ ”. with agendas (to continue to oppress and lie to black people to keep them from learning their truth and rising economically, politically and socially to the top of industry and thus threaten the current position of the wealthy elite who are largely white males) will always lie about places like Haiti, the rest of the Caribbean and Africa because they do not want you to learn about your true history and power. Enslaved Africans ALWAYS fought to the death for their freedom, they did not go willingly. Haiti was the first group of enslaved Africans to fight the Europeans and win. They inspired many other enslaved Africans in the Caribbean to rise fight and win. Why do you think we’re still here?...Haiti were and are a symbol of black power and hope, which is why fascists like Trump will mock and try to slander Haiti without giving the true history and context. The reason Haiti and some parts of Africa are in the poor economic state they are in today is because Europeans robbed, pillaged and desecrated them to a state they hoped they’d never rise from again. Now they have to make the rest of us believe that all we can ever be is downtrodden so that we will never feel empowered enough to rise again. We have always fought for our freedom. That is why we are still here. Haiti was the First Nation to win, let others know it was possible and become a symbol and inspiration of black pride and power. People that lie or think that our enslaved ancestors just went willingly into slavery are ignorant of history and the facts. The truth is slavery was some of the worst hell on Earth humans had ever had to suffer. Yet we survived and generations later are still here - it’s were Caribbean’s get that fire in their belly from. We’re tough because we had to be. Only the strongest survived. Think about that. Movie clip from 1804movie.com ofhaiti
